There are days that remind us how powerful community can be, and our Shop with Purpose event at Lilly Pulitzer at Boca Town Center was one of them.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us on Saturday, April 18th, at Boca Town Center Mall. Whether you came out to shop, spread the word, or simply stop by to learn more about River Run, your presence made a real impact.
At River Run Racehorse Retirement, every conversation, every purchase, and every shared moment helps move our mission forward. Through this special partnership, a portion of proceeds directly supported River Run Racehorse Retirement and our commitment to providing retired racehorses with safety, dignity, and lifelong care.
What stood out most that day was not just the shopping bags leaving the store, but the heart behind every transaction. People came in already understanding that their purchase meant something more. It meant feed in the barn. It meant veterinary care. It meant another horse getting the chance to simply be a horse again.
We want to extend a sincere thank you to the Lilly Pulitzer team for welcoming us into their space and for believing in this mission. Partnerships like this are what allow nonprofit work to grow beyond the barn and into the wider community.
Every retired racehorse that comes to River Run has a story. Some are champions on the track. Others are quiet workers who gave everything they had. All of them deserve the same outcome in the end, a safe landing and a peaceful life.
